Phtoshop updated on Tuesday and now I cannot open it. I keep getting a message about a missing Dxcore.dll. I have reinstalled and nothing. I spent 2 1/2 hours with Adobe. Their only answer is to update to Windows 11. It was working perfectly two days ago, and now-nothing. I am devastated. I have been a faithful adobe user since photoshop 4. I have spent a fortune and am currently a monthly subscriber.  All I wanted was a link to reinstall a previous version of 25, but no one can help me.  This is not right. There is nothing wrong with my operationg system. As I said, photoshop was working fine just two days ago.  Now it looks as if I am going to have to give up doing graphics.  I am so upset, I do not know what to do.

Seems like this may be related to Photoshop 26.1.

Can you try uninstalling 26.1 and installing a previous version?

I have tried that but it keeps aborting it. I went back to 24 but no luck. It is something with the installer and it keeps telling me my operating system is not acceptable. I am fit to be tied. If I install the latest version the creative cloud says my system is compatible but I cannot open it.

@elizabeth weimer Try downloading the latest Beta and see if that resolves it. A fix was issued in that Beta.
