Inverse Shortcut not working Photoshop 22.4.2 macOS Big Sur

Hello!

I'm on a fresh (~3 week) install of Big Sur, with Photoshop 22.4.2. My machine is a 2018 i9 Macbook Pro with 32GB ram.

I cannot use the hotkey for Select > Inverse (CMD+Shift+I).

Other shortcuts work just fine (copy, cut, paste, fill, feather, image size, repeat filter, etc. all work just fine).

Only the shortcut for Select > Inverse is disabled.

Thanks for your help. I was able to diagnose that the issue was that CloudApp (which takes screenshots and records the screen) also had a shortcut using CMD + SHIFT+ I, and because it is a global app it was interfering with Photoshop!

If resetting preferences  doesn't work, and the problem is related to keyboard/OS try (for test purposes) to change the shortcut are you interested in:

and verify if it works

Hi there,

We're sorry for the trouble with the inverse shortcut. I have just tested it on my machine and it's working fine. I am on Photoshop 22.4.2 and macOS 11.4. You may try reset Photoshop preferences back to defaults and check if that helps. Here's the article for the steps: https://adobe.ly/3ceal5t  Also, please backup the Photoshop preferences beforehand: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preset-migration.html

Let us know if that helps.

Thanks,

Mohit
