I have exactly the same issues ie cannot open a LR10 image in PS2021 using 'Edit in PS2021'; gives the same IO error and then wont allow PS to close because of a program error. (I get the same error trying to open a RAW file directly in PS; it opens Camera Raw ok but then bombs with the same program Error and wont close)

My Windows desktop specs all meet the min specn except i only have 1Gb GPU on my GeForce 210 graphics card; my laptop (which works fine) has 2Gb. Presumably the move to PS2021 changed the min spec for graphics GPU from 1gb to 2Gb?

I guess my options are to a) upgrade my graphics card or b) reinstall the previous version of PS that did work (will that still work with LR10?)

I want to make it clear that the upgraded V22.0 program was working OK but I could not work from Lightroom which is my main task for it
