Iris blur, field blur, path blur etc isn't showing adjustment handles in Photoshop 19.1.7

Hi there Iris blur, field blur etc aren't showing adjustment handles, any ideas how to fix the problem?

and yes I'm using a smart filter layer

Photoshop cc 19.1.7

You can try resetting your preferences. It seems to have solved the same problem in CC 2019.

Could you please update Photoshop to version 21.0.1 via the Creative Cloud Desktop Application and let us know if it helps?

Also, what operatign system are you working on?

Thank you, I've updated to latest version and it's just the same, no adjustment handles, I now have another problem, My bridge doesn't recognise photoshop as a programme to open into since updating? running windows 10

What you are looking at is the Windows OS File Association, Bridge has its' own Associations.

 

In Bridge: Go to Preferences (using Ctrl k) > File Type Associations, then choose the Photoshop version you want to open the file with.
