Hello everyone,
I'm currently facing an issue in Photoshop related to color profiles. When I open different files with the same color profile, the colors inexplicably seem to change. This affects the quality of my work, and I can't quite understand why this is happening.
Thank you in advance for your help!

Hey, @Heloise33163906wdoc. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll need more information to help you figure this out.
Does it behave as mentioned after a specific set of steps? What troubleshooting steps have you tried already?
Does this happen with the specific set of documents? The Laayers panel isn't visible, so it's tough to suggest anything.
Please share a video of the issue and the system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here..
Could you share a sample image PSD document to showcase the exact layer properties?
As a test, try these steps:
1—Go to Photoshop > Settings > Performance > Advanced Settings > Disable/uncheck GPU Compositing & restart Photoshop.
2—Please test and confirm if Photoshop (Beta) has an issue. You can get Photoshop (Beta) from the Creative Cloud > Apps tab > Beta Apps section.
Thanks!

This looks more like a layer blending/compositing issue than a color management issue - but just to be sure, set the status bar to show "document profile":

@Heloise33163906wdoc if the documents differ, then making sure they both have the same ICC colour profile embedded does not make them look the same, it does, though, [on an accurately calibrated and profiled monitor display screen] give you an accurate preview of both images, so you can work out what it is in the image and the way it was made that’s causing the different appearance.
I hope this helps
