issue woth lasso tool

I made a selection with the lasso tool but the option to cut my selection is not available.

Hi, thanks for reaching out! Which version of Photoshop are you using? Where are you checking for the option to cut the selection?

Hi @aude_6846, I'm just checking in. Have you had any luck with your issue with the lasso tool? Along with trying out Nikunj's suggestion, you can also try resetting your preferences. Do you have a layer selected in the Layers panel? Can you post a screenshot of the problem with the Layers panel expanded and visible?
