I've just recently up-graded to the latest version of PS. To apply unsharp mask to an image in the old version it was command F. Now that does not work, I just get the DISCOVER box appear. I've tried everything. HELP

If the discover-box is not of value for you, you can assign that shortcut again to whatever command you want:

(my screenshots are from a Windows PC, exchange cmd for ctrl and opt for alt

Hi, after you have applied your Unsharp mask settings the first time, you now hold Control+ Command+F to get the Unsharp mask to apply again.  Hope that helps.

Command F now lets you find tools, panels, articles, etc. to help you work. You can change keyboard shortcuts by going to Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts... and when the dialog opens, set the dropdown menu for Shortcust For: to Application Menus. Go down to Filter and twirl it open. In Sharpen, you'll find Unsharp Mask. Enter the shortcut you'd like to use. You'll get a message if the shortcut you choose is in use and will be removed if you accept the new shortcut.
