Latest Photoshop update freezing like crazy

I work on a imac and I have CC running all the time, never really have crashes or freezing happening often,

But all of a sudden photoshop has been freezing out of control, and it seems to be at random times nothing is really triggering it. But this is Hella annoying when you have deadlines etc.

Is it the latest update? should I uninstall and reinstall or downgrade?

Please help Im dying here lol.

First thing would be the settings file. It can go bad and an uninstall/reinstall won't touch it.

I don't know if  you use a tablet, but drivers can cause problems provided there is nothing wrong with your Mac.
