Layer Style Feathering

Hello!

Is there any way to feather or mask a layer style? I'm using the outer glow option, however the edge is really obvious so doesn't look very seamless or natural.

Other than committing the outer glow to a separate layer, your only options are to adjust the opacity, spread, and size sliders.

Go to Layers-Layer Style-Create Layer. This places the layer style on separate layers. Put them into a group then add a layer mask.

Thank you so much! I've had a bit more of a play with those settings and that seems to have done the trick!
