Layer to Files Error

Every time I try to export my files from layer to files it says: General Photoshop error: this functionality may not be available in this version of photoshop. What do I do?????

What is Layer 0? Is it blank or does it have content that can be saved? If you delete Layer 0, does the Layers to Files script work? There are other layers that are not visible as the panel isn't big enough to show without scroll bars, so perhaps the issue is another layer.
