let a image pop out of a shape

Hi everyone!

 

Is there an easy way to let the bycicle steer pop out of the shape? Like in the example, but SMOOTH.
Cut the bycle is not so easy.

Hi. You can create a mask in the shape layer and paint with the Brush tool where you want to hide the shape. This tutorial should give you an idea of how to work with masks: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/how-to/layer-mask.html
