Liquify - A simple straight line?

I'm working on some product images where there is a slight warps in the product but it should be straight clean lines.

Ideally if I could make a crisp straight line/box out of a freeze mask then I could move things over to line up.

(Like horizontal or vertical painting/brush tool while holding SHIFT)

Or - a polygonal lasso tool - straight line shape that can Freeze mask!

Is this possible - or it just has to be done all by hand?

It's much easier to answer this sort of question if you show us a decent sized screen shot.

A simple diagram - I want to use freeze mask in a perfectly straight line (or rectangle or polygon) - to define a guided liquify brush so the freeze edge will be straight.  In this case the blue line (paint holding shift in the regular brush tool) is a proposed freeze mask edge and the jittery RH side can be pushed over to the line and stop.  The ultimate would be to allow a clipping/pen path to be imported as a limiter for freeze mask.... then even curves and custom shapes could be frozen in order to set liquify limits precisely.
