So, I'm trying to install Photoshop on Windows 8.1, So far, I think I've gotten pretty close to my goal, however, I've reached a roadblock. That being, d3d12.dll. The first problem I had with it was it saying that __cxxframehandler4 was missing, though I somewhat quickly found out I had to switch the 4 to a 3, and then, upon attempting to launch photoshop, the dreaded word of LocalFree came up, and I have absolutely no clue about how I'm supposed to get past that. both times, the thing it was searching for was already in the file, specifically at line 587. Would there be any way to get past this roadblock?
Photoshop 2022 more than likely will never work on windows 8.1, because of windows features and code that photoshop 2022 uses that is in windows 10 and 11, but is not in windows 8.
If you want photoshop 2022 why not install windows 10, where photoshop 2022 will run with no problems.
