Win 10 21H1, all fixes applied.

PS 2022.

There is no logo on the PS taskbar icon, just a blank outlined rectangle.

Icons are displayed properly for PS 2021 and all other Creative Suite apps I have installed.

How can I fix this?

Thanks, I would never have found this!

I read through it, it is rather dated though I saw one ref to Win10.

I tried one suggested solution but the action is no longer available on the dropdown menu (Start>Programs, right click...).

It is refering mainly to pinned icons on the taskbar. My issue is with open app icons on the taskbar.

I noticed last night that when I was running PS 2022... the icon was filled.

Other than a "secret" fix from Microsoft (auto-updates..) all I can see that I did was a couple of days ago I changed the taskbar icon size from large to small.. strange that this woudl do it.

Thanks

Richard

Sorry, you are right.

For windows 10:

Start > Right Click  Adobe Illustrator > More > Open file location

Right Click Illustrator shortcut > Properties > Shortcut > Change Icon

Thanks, as I noted, it fixed itself (Photoshop not Illustrator).
