Lost 3 days recent files and last uncompleted work after Photoshop 2025 crash

After Photoshop 2025 crash I opened photoshop and last recent file was 3 days ago. And I can't restore my last 2 hours uncompleted work after crash. There is no autosave folder on mac. Can anyone help?

Auto recovery only works if the file has been saved at least once. No need to try to find the folder, when you open Photoshop after the crash any files that could be recovered are automatically opened. Recent files are just alias/shortcuts for convenience, just reopen the original files from where they were saved.

True, and it should have had at least one save (the choices are every 5/10/15/30 minutes or 1 hour) If...

"There is no autosave folder on mac" (as Stephen says) but only if this box is checked:

Yes, one obviously has to have the checkbox active for it to work, and the file needs to be manually saved once in that session to enable the auto recovery info save to work while that file is open in that session.
