Lost desktop icon in Windows 11

I've just found that my desktop icon for Photoshop is absent from my desktop (in Windows 11).  It's still showing in my list of apps in the Start window.  Could someone tell me how to create a desktop icon afresh?

In your start menu, hover over the icon and select "open file location".

It will take you to the location where the shortcut was created for the start menu.

Copy and paste that link to your desktop

Thanks... by the time I saw this, I'd already found a slightly different method by a web search; I tried that, and it worked:  Just drag the name in the Start menu to the desktop.

Sometimes you need just to refresh using right click to show new additions to desktop, thats my experience with Win 11.
