Tried PS itself and using the Creative Cloud and neither pick up my copy of PS. It is registered on my account. When I try to activate it through the online downloaded PS it says it isn't valid with the 2019 version. Seen many posts saying it will only work through the physical disk because it installs/sets up differently than the online version. So am I just screwed? No way I am buying another PS that I was just using on my old PC a few days ago and could lose AGAIN for no reason.
I remember I had this problem last time too but luckily I had the disk at the time.

If you bought a perpetual version from Adobe then :
For CS4 to CS6 download and install from your account and activate using your serial number.
For CS to CS3 these can no longer be activated.
Any version of CC needs a valid subscription, there is no serial number activation.
