Over the past month, I have been facing numerous problems with Photoshop (currently on v. 26.4.1).
The problem randomly presents generic errors, informing me that a certain action cannot be performed. I have already seen this error in simple functions, such as using Dodge and Burn, a new gradient layer or creating a text layer.
I have tried everything I know (clearing the preferences, checking for driver updates, Windows system updates, Photoshop itself), I have even uninstalled it, removed all traces and reinstalled it.
Even after this, the errors continue. The most critical point was when I tried to edit the toolbar, the program simply closed, without even displaying any errors.
I have been using PS for countless years, and I have never encountered so many errors. I don't know what to do anymore.

Hey, @felipexa. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll need more information to help you figure this out. Please share the system information from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.
I couldn't find crash reports submitted with the account you've signed in to the community with. If you see a crash dialogue, submit it with your Adobe ID. Check here for more steps: https://adobe.ly/3Wpjx0B
Also, have you tried using Photoshop (beta)? You can go to Creative Cloud > Apps section > Beta Apps tab.
Try these steps to get Photoshop to behave as expected:
Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

O erro que aparece é como o abaixo.
Era uma camada de ajuste de gradiente e eu estava movendo o ponto central. Aparece a mensagem de erro, quando clico em ok, o programa fecha completamente, sem aparecer a tela do relatório.
The above error is caused even with the program open without plugins.
Regarding using the Beta version, I would not like to use it, as it is potentially unstable.

Sorry. Half of the previous message was sent in my native language.

>It was a gradient adjustment layer and I was moving the center point. The error message appears, when I click ok, the program closes completely, without the report screen appearing.

@Sameer K Yes, I tried the alternatives (except using the beta version).
The error image above was generated when booting into Windows Safe Mode, with Photoshop open without plugins.

Thanks for sharing the details. If this has started to happen since a recent update for Photoshop, you can try installing an older version of Photoshop: https://adobe.ly/4bN5BTK
Additionally, we're aware of an issue with Photoshop and Gradient Adjustment layers; you can add your upvote here: https://adobe.ly/4bOJ356;
Thanks!
