Magenta color cast in flickr

Can someone shed some light on an issue I have when editing an image in flickr. If I use flickr image editor, even if I don't make andy changes but just save as a new photo, the image has a fairly strong magenta cast over it. This only happens when I images are converted in Adobe RAW converter. If I use Canon DPP or Fast Stone Image viewer to convert the RAW file it does not happen. Something in the Adobe RAW converter is causing this problem. Any ideas please - Ken

Do the files that go to flickr have an embedded/tagged ICC colour profile in them?

Do the files that come from DPP or other software have embedded/tagged ICC colour profile in them?

If so, what is it?

Thanks a lot, you nailed it. I had the Photoshop set to Profoto RGB. Canon DPP is set to  sRGB. I changed Photoshop to sRGB and  when doing an edit in flickr the cast is now not there.  By the way, do you think it is worthwhile to work in Profoto?

Many thanks, Ken

ProPhoto is for experienced users who are aware of the implications and take their precautions.

Even so, the disadvantages often outweigh the advantages. It should never be used indiscriminately.
