Making an object look realistic in a picture

Hi, in the below image I photoshopped a can and was wondering how I can make it look more realistic and more part of the image? Do I need more shadows? on the can or on the legs? Thank you!yellow dress yellow can.jpg

The shadow on the can seems to weak and the shadow it throws on leg and textile seems to be too neutral and not follow the folds on the textile.

Thank you for the reply. Where do you think I should add shadoes on the can?

What do you mean by too neutral? Should it be stronger?

Could you please post the original images (or the pertinent sections thereof)?

The right side of the can seems too bright compared to the lower leg for example.

And the shadow the can casts on the person and textile seems too neutral, not necessarily weak. (Though maybe that, too, compared to the shadow th echin casts on the neck.)

Neutral means that the saturation is low – it effectively seems to be a dark gray and that does not fit with the photographed shadows.

Layer Masks or VectorMasks can be used to separate the textile along the folds’ edges and paint the shadow on each one separately.
