Hello. I am on latest version of Photoshop 24.01.
I try to distort a picture frame with a layer mask to only have the frame (without the picture inside). The layer is linked to the mask. When I try to move it to another position (distort) the mask does not move along . Mask chain is selected .
My only choice is apply mask and then distort . Then I have no problem but I lose my mask. Is this a new bug? I had never had this problem in the past : mask always followed the layer unless I unchained it.
I tried enabling and disabling all the layer locking options but nothing mask did not change with the layer. Finally, I saved the image. Closed it , opened it again and everything worked as it should and now the masks changes with the layer. Graphic card, program bug. don't know but just shutting down PS and open it again did the trick., Thank you

Any chance you accidentally use a different tool or have enabled one of the locking options for the layer? A screenshot might help...

I have the same issue and not even closing Photoshop entirely and reopening it does the trick. It keeps happening even after I close the program. My only choice is to select the mask manually and transform it individually. I'm working on a Macbook Air M1. This is definitely a bug. Please fix it Adobe.
