I swear I used to be able to do this but haven't used PS for graphic design in a while. Please help, this will x2 my productivity for this job.
I remember I was able to basically highlight a chunk of text that had a certain style (Font/size/spacing, etc) and with some key combo, click onto some word from another block of text and the highlighted text would match the style of the clicked text.
I hope what I'm asking makes sense.
Please I have many blocks of text with many font styles inside each, and I'm exploring iterations, if I don't find this I'm a dead man. Thanks in advance.

Are you sure you did not just use the Character or Paragraph Style Panel?
Or could you possibly be thinking of features in Indesign or Illustrator?

100% was able to do this. Was a previous PS version tho 2017 or smth. Made my entire portfolio in PS and changed the font styles a few times across all the pages this way. If I hadnt found that trick I would ve gone mad cos I didnt know about styles.
Im using styles now that I found tho. But that was very convenient to not have to create dozens of styles.

You may be thinking of the Eyedropper tool. It works in InDesign and Illustrator, but not in Photoshop. Photoshop, at its core, is an image editor. It is not as robust with text as either InDesign (excellent) or Illustrator (very good).
I found this on the read-only feedback page:
If you want to make a feature request, you can do it on this forum now. Tag it as an "Idea" instead of "Discussion".
