Math operation on Image size

Hi,

I have a suggestion to improve Photoshop (or maybe that already exist and I don't know).

In Foundry Nuke is possible to insert math operations on spaces like the Image Size. Would be helpfull if it exist on Photoshop too.

For example, in Nuke, if I go to the file size and write 1920 * 2 it will change the image size to 3840px. So, I didn't need to open my calculator and discover what will the result of this operation.

This is not essential, but only a suggestion to improve the software.

All the best!

You would need to  use Photoshop Scripting to automate using math  in some Photoshop features like that. Actions can not use math like that Action can only test for a few condition document and layers may have.  Photoshop Dialog numeric fields  only accept numeric  data  and perhaps a unit type like % PX MM PT etc not numeric math expression plus type.  I do not think that Adobe would entertain updating all Photoshop UI dialog and option bar fields which have measurement numeric fields. You can submit a suggestions but if you do you may want to suggest specific areas you would like to see this available.  As I wrote a global change I feel would be very unlikely.
