May I utilize the hand tool by using the space bar in 23.5.1, please?

Big mistake taking that away. Now I notice it's gone with InDesign as well. 

Pantone didn't own that feature, did they?  That would explain a lot!

The Spacebar is working for me on macOS. Sometimes another application takes over the shortcuts — it could even be a browser. See which applications you have in StartUp

 

Also, try starting up in Safe Mode:

Here's one thread that found the culprit was Webroot:

Hi, your computer might have a problem, especially as you have the problem also in ID.

I'm moving this discussion out of the bugs section.

Usually, a third party program steals the spacebar, I suggest to search for similar discussions in the forum.

Chrome has been a culprit for a while, I suggest to start other programs one by one until you have the issue.

23.5.1/MacOS 10.15.7 here. Spacebar works as it should.
