Minimised images just disappear! Can anyone help?  They used to just sit at the bottom of the screen and simple to pick them up...now they just vanish!

Not as clever as I though, did a screen shot but I’ve no idea where it went.
I’ll try to explain it a bit better.
You’ve got your screen open as usual.
You hold down control and open a few photos. They are all in chaos on my screen! What used to happen was......if I minimised them one at a time they would just sit with the titles showing at the bottom on the photoshop screen. I could then just pick which one I wanted to open....easy peasy?
Now I’ve got the chaos on my screen I minimise 1 of the images it just disappears , does thet make any sense at all?

Images sent by email are removed by the forum software. Please use the Insert Image button (mountain and sun) in a Reply window instead.

In the interim, can you go to the Window menu and click the open files from the very bottom of the menu?

I'm guessing the application frame for Photoshop got moved down so the bottom part is not visible on your screen. You might need to move/resize the frame to bring the bottom back into view — or you can click the Maximize button in the upper right. We can assist once we see the screenshot.

I suspect you have the document windows floating.  Go Window > Arrange > Consolidate all to tabs and with a bit of luck, all open windows will be tabbed across the top of the screen.

I have the options with shortcuts, but I only really use Tile Vertically and Tabs

What version of photoshop and Windows are you using?

Have you checked the Taskbar settings ?

Did you do a recent operating system upgrade like from windows 10 to 11?

Click on the PS icon in the Taskbar and then click on a photo to bring it into the workspace.
