Hi all. Im running into an issue where my mouse in pencil mode seems to have some partial size dynamics stuck and will not paint up to the edge of the cursor.
What I have tried:
This happens with the mouse. I have a drawing monitor with pen that I also use, but can get full range of size and opacity with that. Sometime I just want to use a mouse on pencil mode and this is when I have the problem. The problem is across the board with pencil mode, brush mode, eraser in pencil mode, eraser in brush mode.
Note: while writing this question I tried to record my screen to get an example showing the cursor size over the pixels, then when I watched the recording the brush cursor is smaller than what I see on my monitor and matches exactly the pixels being drawn. What I see normally (not the recording, actual use) is the cursor is about twice the size of the drawn pixels. Im not sure what this means.
Thank you for any ideas

Have a look at the Options Bar see if there isything going on there? Brush Blend Mode or the Always Use buttons?
I hesitate to suggest it because you are not learning anything, but for a quick fix, reset the tool.

I also meant to ask what is your cursor set to in Preferences?
