My edited image won't open, and right-clicking/double-clicking does nothing :((

I have two files in Photoshop currently. One is 02Start[1].tif and the other is the finished product labeled 02Working.psd. I can open the original image, but the finished product I can do nothing with. All I want to do is export the image but I can't open it, I can't right-click, double-click, nothing. It's basically useless. I have no idea what I did wrong :'( Please help!

I apologize, photoshop is 24.1.0.166, Bridge is 13.0.2

Hi @Kyla27927972ozou

You didn't say which files have those dates. In Windows File Explorer, you can change the View to show different setting. If any of the files do not say 7/25/2019 for the Date Created, they are ones you have already worked on.

Possibly you may have renamed the start.tif file to working.psd and it has the wrong extension. I recommend that you begin again.  The ZIP file is still in Downloads unless you moved or deleted it. Unzip it and use a fresh copy of the files.

Do you have icloud by chance? If it's auto uploaded to the cloud, it wont open. You need to download it from icloud first. I have had this problem where I try to open my file several ways and realized it was in icloud and until it was fully downloaded, I was a sitting duck.

Can you provide the file? What is its filesize and what is the filesize of the original tif?

Do you get any error message when you try opening it?

I'm not entirely sure where I'd find the file size at, but no, I don't get an error message. When I click on 02Working.psd, nothing happens at all, as if it weren't there.
