Sorry for the basic question, I'm new to Photoshop! I have combined seperate PSD files into one document. How can I easily see the different pages?

OK, if Load Files into Stack was used, then each file was loaded as a separate layer in the same document. The topmost visible layer hides all the layers under it. Therefore, the way to see each layer is to control which layers are visible, hiding the layers you don’t want to see. The demo below shows these steps:

1. Open or bring forward the Layers panel (Window > Layer) so you can see the stacking order of the layers and the eye icons that control which ones are visible.

Can you describe how you combined them? The reason for the question is that Photoshop doesn’t have a specific “pages” feature, so people simulate pages using layers, layer comps, artboards, etc. Which method did you use?

Sure. I used this method File>Scrips>Load Files into Stack. I'm not tided to any particiular method. My situation is that a Designed has created about 20 PSD files (which are pages in a brochure) and I would to edit the wording. When editing the wording I just don't know the easiest way to see/navigate to all the 20 pages as easily as possible? Help!

2. You can click eye icons to hide or show layers. However, this can be a problem if you want to see different layers in the middle of the stack, because you also have to hide all layers above the one you want to see. So, instead…

3. Hold down the Alt key (Option key on a Mac) as you click an eye icon. Adding that key toggles visibility of all layers other than the one you clicked. So, if you Alt-click the eye icon on the layer you want, all other layers are hidden. This is probably the most convenient way to view and edit each individual layer.

The last thing shown is that if you Alt-click the eye icon of a layer when all other layers are hidden, that toggles all other layers to be visible.

If you want to hide or show a continous range of layers, you can also drag through all of their eye icons in one gesture.

Did you load files to stack as smart object layers? If not, the text may not be preserved as text.
