I have recently purchased photoshop subscriptions from adobe and cannot install Photoshop CS6 extended.

I cannot access the downloads area at url:

I get this error when I visit that page:

@victor35190983m1qr do you have a license from a previous Adobe purchase? If so you should be able to download from your account history:

If this is a new subscription as you mentioned - then you cannot download or install CS6. That is not part of the Creative Cloud subscription.

I don't believe CS6 is available via CC. If you bought it prior to CC and have it on your Adobe account, it should be available for download there.

Adobe doesn't sell subscriptions to different versions. CS6 is very close to dead, you can't buy it anymore.

photoshop cs6 is still up and running and will still continue to do, i don't understand why it would not.
and why would you not be able to install an older version? this makes no sense to me.
are you working for adobe?

@victor35190983m1qr you cannot purchase additional licensing for CS6. End of story.

The only legitimate way to install CS6 extended was to have purchased licensing for that specific application back in 2012/13 when it was available.

It doesn't matter if we're working for Adobe or not - facts are facts.

Your recent Photoshop subscription does not include access to older CS6 versions of software. Adobe's official support policy is current +1 year prior - meaning 2024 and 2023 Creative Cloud.

If you want to spend time and effort to get the same response from Adobe directly - you can contact Adobe Customer Care. They will tell you the same thing.

Go to https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html and log into the site. Click the chat pod on the bottom right and type AGENT to get a real person who can help. Be patient 1:1 customer care puts you in a queue.
