I subscribed to Adobe Creative Cloud with the intention of using the AI-powered tools to unleash creativity on my images. Unfortunately, I’ve been running into a series of limitations and issues instead. One of the main frustrations is that Neural Filters in Photoshop are greyed out and not available for use.
It would be incredibly helpful if there were an explanation provided in the application itself as to why the filters are unavailable. Right now, I’m spending far more time troubleshooting and searching for answers than actually creating.
Could someone from Adobe please clarify why Neural Filters might be greyed out, and what steps I need to take to enable them? I’d like to get the most out of my subscription while it’s active, but I feel stuck at the moment.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
I ended up having to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop again. Honestly, I’m done.
I’m going to remove everything and cancel my subscription. I’ve already spent hours struggling with Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe Firefly as well. A week later, and I still don’t have what I was aiming for.
That’s enough for me.

I updated Photoshop through the Creative Cloud Desktop app, and now the Neural Filters are available.
However, Photoshop is now showing up in a different language, even though the default app language in Creative Cloud preferences is set to English (International).
How can I get Photoshop to display in English as intended?
Thanks again for any guidance!
