New Start Screen [was: Any help would be great! Many thanks!]

I have just diwnloaded the 7-day trial version of Photoshop CC. Howeer, ths looks totally different from the version I used in a beginners course that I attended. The screen is almost blank ad there is no tool bar or control panel, etc. Do I need to do anything to set these up? Perhaps I have downloaded the wrong version? Any help would be great. Many Thanks!

Go to Edit > Preferences > General, and uncheck Show "Start" Workspace When No Documents Are Open.

Restart Photoshop for the change to take effect.

You can select a file from this newish opening page or create a new one. If you don't like this and want to revert to the previous version, go to Photoshop preferences and under the General tab tick Use Legacy Interface without any document loaded, close and reopen PS.
