New update in Photoshop 2020 v21.1.3 - freezes in hue/saturation adjustments

Community Beginner ,

Hello all, since I made the last update of PS in CC when I am colorizing an image (sc below) it freezes and then I have to wait like 5 mins and push buttons like crazy for it to resume... this is the only feature that does this... anyone with a similar problem? or an idea on how to fix it?

Hello, hiding rulers was temporary, please go to your Creative Cloud app, and update to Photoshop 21.2, as this issue is fixed, according to this help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/fixed-issues.html#photoshop-desktop-fixed-issues

Hi all,

Apologies for the frustration as Photoshop keeps freezing while using the Hue/Saturation. We have been able to reproduce the freeze and the engineering team is currently investigating a fix.

Current workarounds that we're aware of:

  • Disable Rulers (CMD+R on Mac, Ctrl+R on Win)
  • Move the Adjustment dialog outside of Photoshop's workspace/interface before touching any sliders.

Let us know how this goes.
Regards,

Akash

Hello Akash thanks for your reply this certainly has fixed the issue although is kinda weird adjusting the hue saturation in another window.

Thank you again.

We definately understand that the Adjustment tools are a very important part of editing workflow in Photoshop. This problem is being worked upon by engineers and they are working towards a resolution.
