Nik Collection in PS 2020 installieren

Community Beginner ,
Nov 11, 2019 Nov 11, 2019

Hi,

Hi

Do you still have Photoshop CC 2019 installed, if so you can just copy the Google folder from here

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2019\Plug-ins

to the plug-in folder for Photoshop 2020

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2020\Plug-ins

Hi, I did this but although the Nik collection shows, when I use it it fails to update the photo I am editing.  I had to create the photoshop 2020/plug-in folder and copied the google folder there.  I did get a message on loading PS, saying one of your plug-ins is not available.  Can you help me please? I am sure I have done something silly

Hi

You don't need to create a plug-ins folder as it's already there, you'll find it if you double click on this folder

ty for your response but alas, still crashes, yes i tried this days ago.  all the filters crash photoshop 2020 except viveza.  i live with my silver efex everyday and i am lost without it, this is so frustrating.  even the company is not responding to my problem.

still hoping someone can assist me as i am sure i am not the only one plaqued with this problem.

Hi - I'm having the same issue- if I use my Nik filters it crashes my PS 2020.  In the past I would go back to PS2019 but unfortunately I just uninstalled older versions to clean up my system.  Anything new fixes come out in the last 5 months???  Thanks Tina

Hallo!

The Nik Filters (older Version) are installed at the right place. If you work with Viveza for example you can see your settings, if you press ok, nothing happens. What is going wrong?

Moin zusammen,

No problems when copying the Nik filters from plugins under PS 2019 to PS2020. Ignoring the following error message during opening of PS2020 has no effect (on my system).

But very important: Change the active layer to a smart object, then I had no problem any more.

Have fun and stay healthy

Hi Gred,

found your comment only today after having the same issue with NiK Filter Collection and PS 2020.

The link you have posted helped 100 %.

Now there remains a problem with the layer opacity. I can move the slider from 0 5 to 100 %, but nothing happens.

Does this sound familiar to you?

thy in advance for your possible hepl.

Stefan (from Germany9

Hallo Stefan,

schau mal in meinen Kommentar vom 3. July.

Bleib xsund
