No guarda al cerrar el archivo en Photoshop

al darle cerrar un archivo en photoshop aparece la opción de guardar el archivo antes de cerrar porque tuvo modificaciones, le doy guardar como siempre lo hecho en las anteriores versiones, pero cuando vuelvo abrir el archivo no ha guardado nada de lo que he hecho, ahora me ha tocado guardar antes de cerrrar y confirmar en la carpeta la informacion del archivo que si se haya actualizado la ultima fecha y hora en que guarde

Could you share a few more details about the issue? For example, what version of Photoshop are you using? If possible, a quick screen recording would be super helpful.
Does the file save when you try other methods, like going to File > Save or pressing Ctrl + S? Also, try moving the file to a different folder, sometimes permission issues in the original folder can prevent saving.
Lastly, make sure the file isn’t set to “read-only.” You can check this by right-clicking the file in your file explorer, selecting Properties, and confirming that the read-only attribute isn’t enabled.
