Object Selection Tool is missing

Hello Dear all. 

I use Ps v. 20.0.9 most of the time. I came to know that Object Selection Tool is missing. I cannot find it in Edit> Tools among extra tools.  There is no the "three dots" (...) in my tool bar either to click and search.

How can I manage to find it and put in my tools bar? Thank you beforehand for your help.

Hi, The object selection tool is a new tool in Ps 21, Photoshop 2020; while Ps 20 is Photoshop CC 2019 (confusing, isn't it?) and does not have that tool. 

if you are running Ps 2020, you should try resetting your preferences, and make sure that you are on the essentials workspace.

I am running photoshop CS6, version 13. are there object selection tool?

No, the object selection tool was introduced in version 21 of Photoshop

Thank you for your reply. I will try.  Pls note that the day before yesterday, someone from Adope helped me and put Object Selection Tool into my tool bar of Photoshop v 21.1.3.  Then I tried to insert into Photoshop

v 20.0.9 which I run most. I could not manage it even I changed workspace from Essentials (default) to photography and then again from photography to Essentials. Well, I will try. Have  nice day.

Hello, you can try, but you won't have the tool in 20.0.9... as it came in 21.
