Object Selection Tool not selecting

@CShubert  OK nevermind - I just went back at switched back out of Rosetta.  it is now working.  I guess I hadn't tracked all the combinations of fixes and gone back to Silicon mode again.  I think some combination of preference resetting and whatever else I tried and now going back of Rosetta IT'S WORKING!!! Yay!!!!  Thank you!

@CShubert In trying to resolve the issue I've run in rosetta and M1 to see if it made a difference.  Nope.

@CShubert, Hi Cory, Could you please take a look at @slr217's System Info to see if you can identify any reason why Object Finder isn't working when you get a chance? Does it have to do with the M1 Max? I see a similar issue reported here.

Please post your Photoshop system info. Go to Help > System Info, hit the copy button and paste the entire thing into this thread.

I'm running PS 23.4.1 on a 2022 Mac Studio.  (The 2015 iMac was my old machine where it was working - it's weirdly the new machine that it is not working) 

I've tried a preferences reset.  I've tried importing my preferences from my 2015 iMac where it was working.
