I recall that some versions ago you could apply the last used settings of LEVELS (I think it was Cmd + Shift + L ). Now it gives me an Auto Tone (or auto levels). When editing hundreds of pics, since it is something that would'nt work for me as a recorded action, does anyone know which would be the new keyboard combination? Thanks in advance

Have you tried cmd-alt-L?

The last settings are always called with the same shortcut as the tool itself with the addition of the Alt (Option) key (except when you yourself reassigned this keyboard shortcut to another panel / tool).

Hello; thanks for your response. When I try doing Option+Cmd+L (for levels) behaves exactly as zooming out (Cmd + Minus sign)

And if that should not help Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

Thanks for your replies. I found the culprit . Changing the systems keyboard to US fixed the problem..Somehow never noticed it was at ABC extended. Now I can use Cmd + Opt + L for last used Levels settings.
