One time purchase?

I am looking to buy PhotoShop CC. I was wondering if it was a one time purchase or do I have to pay $239.88 every year?

Hi SpiritStars,

Photoshop Elements is available for purchase, although I won't say "one-time", as at some point if you upgrade your hardware or OS, you will need to buy a newer version.

Photoshop is available only by subscription. Here are the current plans:

The Photography plan (Annual, $9.99 per month) is a good deal if all you want is Photoshop and Lightroom.

So for those of us that just want the package as is and don't want updates are forced to spend the 240$ each year? If we cancel the plan does it have lockout software on it cause I have no intrest in spending 240$ a year on a software package.

If one terminates the cloud license the cloud programs obiously will stop being of use until a license can be validated again.

Then you should look for other software.

A "Subscription" to the Adobe Photography Plan means you pay US$9.99 per month to use the software included in the Plan.

The Photography Plan requires you to agree to a 12 month contract.

As stated by @c.pfaffenbichler If you cancel the Plan you can no longer use the software. (Lightroom-Classic will continue to work in a limited mode)
