OPENGL Issues on Mac

Community Beginner ,
Apr 19, 2021 Apr 19, 2021

I am having problems with Photoshop files and cannot roatate my canvas. The error message keeps telling me that it only works with Open GL enabled documents, though it had been working fine previously. When I go to preferences/performance (I have NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M) the 'Use Graphics Processor' and 'Advanced Settings' options are greyed out (screenshots attached). I tried installing an older, earlier version of Photoshop and that now just crashes after a short period. Any suggestions or advice on how to fix this?

Your graphics card does not meet the requirements to run current versions of Photoshop.

That is why your options are grayed out and GPU reliant functions are not available.

You'll have to upgrade your graphics card if you need to use Photoshop with GPU functions.
