Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?

Photoshop 2020 0nly opens images into this page not so that I can edit it. Also for the money I am paying for Photoshop the Adobe support is piss poor, its they who should be helping me not others who are paying for photoshopUntitled.jpg

I replied to you yesterday. There is no need to create multiple posts for the same issue. Have you tried the troubleshooting steps I have provided?

Hi, For Your Info, DXO updated the Nik filters 4 days ago, check if this version is compatible with the latest Photoshop.

Yes, it is clear that you are using 2020 and that there is no native canvas in that version.

Hence why I asked about installing 2022, but you replied about Nik

Hence me posting this suggestion:

"In 2020, I'd try to go to performance, and check the "Legacy Compositing" option.

Also, is it updated to the latest bug fix?"

Some report that older version of Nik (again, posting your system info would help us help you, as we do not know which dot version of Photoshop, or Nik, etc that you are using...) works if you disable the GPU acceleration in prefs: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/nik-collection-problems-with-photosho...

Hi, in your first post you did not state that you were two versions behind... and working on the product I think he expect their hard work to be put to use 😉

Did you try to install 2022 with said option? (make sure to keep 2020 in the CC options)

See "how to retain the previous version" in https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/using/install-previous-version.html

In 2020, I'd try to go to performance, and check the "Legacy Compositing" option.

Also, is it updated to the latest bug fix?

I recall something about Nik causing issues, is it updated?

Try also to start Ps while holding Shift, to disable plugins.

Also, please post the contents of help/System info... to have more info about your setup.
