I have lost the ability to open Intel based photoshop for some reason on my M1 mac & I am not sure why. All of my other M1 versions have the option to open up the Intel based versions, but my photoshop has now stopped. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still no luck. Has anyone else experienced and fixed this issue. Really needing access to some of my plugins that havent been updated.

Go to Applications > Photoshop > Open the Photoshop Folder > Click the Photoshop Application within the Photoshop folder  Then hold Control > Get Info > Check the box for Open with Rosetta

It could be that your plugins are stopping it from opening in native M1.

Hey guys i dont know if anyone is still having the same issue, but for me i had to go in setting on my macbook and Go to Applications > Photoshop > Open the Photoshop Folder > Click the Photoshop Application within the Photoshop folder  Then hold Control > Get Info >  And uncheck the "open using Rosetta" box.

I dont know if this will help anyone but ive been stuggling with this for a second today i just want to let know, who may have an M1 macbook. Best wishes for anyone ❤️

Thank you!!!!!!!!

I was having trouble importing MOV or MP4 files to Photoshop and after hours of troubleshooting, this saved my life.
