I update Photoshop CC2021 to vers 22.3.1 on 4-14-2021. Now photoshop does not recognizes the graphic accelerator.
I have a Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050Ti Graphic card never had any problems before when updating. I had to revert back to vers. 22.3 to make it work again.

The graphics routines at the heart of Photoshop are being rewritten to use modern GPU functionality (Metal on Apple and Direct X on Windows). This is to give the speed required with the larger images we use today.
This requires a GPU with at least 2GB of VRAM and support for Direct X 12. Your AMD R7 200 has neither of those.

Just wanted to add: If you upgrade your GPU, be aware you might have issues finding even a decent-performing card because of shortages. Plan accordingly.

Thanks for the explanation.
So, no way to use Adaptive Wide Angle (AWA) filter any more after PS 22.3 with my current GPU, right ?
If I consider buying a newer GPU, will this suffice for all tasks of PS and LR in the foreseeable future: Nvidia GTX 1650.
Or would any "stronger" / more expensive GPU offer any benefits for PS or LR Classic for large images, large panoramas, AWA, liquify etc. ? If so: any recommendations / specs to enjoy even further improved performance ?
Thanks

Correct. It's a matter of time before hardware (and software) goes obselete as technology progresses, or I'd still be using that system I built back in the late 1990's that had Windows 98 as the OS and various obselete technologies like IDE ribbon cables to connect my hard drives and CD-Rs.
Even a mid-tier card will benefit you as far as Photoshop/Lightroom goes; it's when you get to 3D (e.g., programs like Blender) is when things get a little iffy.
I currently have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB. It's more than sufficient for my needs. The 1650 would probably smoke mine spec-wise. xD I'm due for an upgrade myself but I'll have to wait for things to die down---hopefully---since components like GPUs are crazy-priced or scarce.
GPUs are a cog in the machine, which is to say that the rest of your system will also determine overall performance. (e.g., RAM. Photoshop loves RAM. And a fast SSD for storage and scratch disk.)

Thanks to Dave for the explanation. (Somehow I cannot reply to his reply below).

I would just like to say that following some Windows updates and Photoshop updates I am finally back to a fully regonised GPU and my multi apps are back to working at the speeds I previously had.
My problems stared in Match 2021 and fully resolved in July 2021. So after 4 months of frustration created by Microsoft Windows and Adbobe Photoshop updates , the latest versions from both companies solved my problenms
