I am on Photoshop 26.1 on my Mac 15-inch, 2018. More specs:
2.9 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i9
Radeon Pro 560X 4 GB
Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB
Mac OS 14.2.1 (23C71)
Bug: After about 2 hours of using PS the canvas freezes when using the zoom tool. I have used three methods of zooming a) mouse the scrol wheel b)using cmd +/- c) track pad d) manually enereting zoom area on lower left corner.
Step (d) seems to show it is functioning on the back end but the canvas does not make any of these changes. 😕
This problem has persisted on this mac for me since the Photoshop's v22.

Have you tried completely disabling the integrated graphics? Often, the integrated GPU causes problems in Photoshop when a dedicated one is available.
