Hello,
The patch tool doesn't work on my MacBook PRO with Sonoma OS version 14.5 and the latest version of Photoshop 2024.
I have tried doing everything that is said in other official threads: reset the tool configurations, delete and install PS again, try other versions... nothing, it just doesn't work.
To rule out errors, the tool configuration is correct and tested with a single layer to rule out application errors in other layers, etc...
I share a video that shows what happens when I try to use the tool.
It's being really frustrating 😞 ...thanks in advance for the responses.

Hello again,
It has operating problems again... 😞
I attach a video that shows the error:
When I create a document and embed an image, the patch tool works correctly.
However, when I open an image directly (without creating a document previously) the patch tool does not work and also once this is done, it stops working in the document in which it previously worked...
If I manually reset Photoshop preferences it works again only when I previously created a document...
I doubt that this is the solution to the problem, having to reset the preferences every 5 minutes...
Is there any explanation for this? It really blocks work...
