Path Blur super slow

Question

Soo I'm applying a path blurr to a photo on an mbp M1 Pro 12.1 and my CPU is at 90% and it is like a snail on the status bar ( Activity monitor sometimes shows photoshop 23.1 not responding) like this is killing me how slow this is processing.. did not have this issue before updating.. any suggestions? TIA!!

Sorry about the trouble experienced with Photoshop. What is the file size that you are working on? Do you see that CPU is at 90% when you launch it or just while using path blur?

If the issue persists, you can try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/2Qzc0K3
