when I tried to make the second path it artwork(create a new path line to combine) it does not work properly and just you can seethe first one and can see justthe second one points and also paths pannel is empty. my version is 22.3

Can you embed screenshot with Pen tool active while drawing path so we can see tool options in the Options bar?
