Pattern preset manager

How do I enlarge the pre-set manager area so that I can choose a pattern or texture in Photoshop?

    Click on the gear in the upper right corner of the Preset Manager and choose Large Thumbnail from the drop-down menu.

    Then, to fill the screen with pattern options click here.

      Thank you...however the three right hand buttons are not available to me. The picture may help. I can not select the pattern when the very small box appears (which is just above the white arrow in this pic). Appreciate more assistance. I would appreciate a phone call if possible! let me know and I can send my number.....I am desperate for this function.

        Even when I go into the preset manager and choose a pattern, it does not bring it into the little box where I can then manipulate it. I used to be able to see all my pattern choices on a double click in that white area. What has happened to this function?
