Hey. I`ve got an issue with pen pressure in PS CS 6, which I installed on my Surface Pro.
I tried to reinstall it, reinstall drivers, paste PSUserConfig.txt file int App Data and nothing works. Still PS doesn`t detect pressure pen, and I`ve got an alert sign in brush settings.
I know that there were a lot of topics with pressure problem but I didn`t find fitting to this. Anyone have idea what can I do more to repair that?
I would be grateful for help.
Sebastian

Hi Sebastian,
Sorry to hear about the trouble with Photoshop. Could you try resetting the preferences of Photoshop and see if it helps?

Note: Make sure that you back up all your custom presets, brushes & actions before restoring Photoshop's preferences. https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preset-migration.html

Unfortunately I don`t have that button. There`s only "reset all warning dialogs" button? You know maybe why it`s not showing in menu?

Read all of the https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html text. That button may have been added at a later stage. Use the keyboard combination to trash the preferences, or use the manual method. Do not forget to back-up them first.

You realize CS6 is discontinued & unsupported software from 2012, right?
In contrast, how old is your Surface Pro?
Have you considered getting modern Photoshop CC?

Yes, I know that it`s no supported. That`s why I asked on forum, not send mail to support team.
My Surface is from 2019. I saw that photshop worked on it correctly.

Sebastian

Modern Photoshop works, yes. But I don't know about Creative Suite which is 12 years old.
You can try modern Photoshop free for 7 days and see if you like it. If you don't wish to keep it, can cancel before the trial ends.
Another option is Photoshop Elements 2022 (approx $100, no subscription needed).
