I just migrated from Paint Tool SAI to Photoshop and I'm having some issues making the strokes of my brushes more tapered at the ends like they are in SAI. Are there pen pressure settings I should be checking or messing with somewhere? I am using the default pen pressure settings in both programs, and I used approximately the same amount of pressure on my Wacom Intuous tablet to create the lines in both programs.

Hi, you should check in the brush panel in photoshop where you can check all settings...regards

It looks very much like the Photoshop API, although I thought those issues were fixed a while back. We can see you are using Windows, so we need to know what version of Photoshop you are using? Most important, are you using Windows Ink?
Windows Ink is the preferred API nowadays. If Use Windows Ink is not checked, then you have to be using WinTab and will need to disable it. check the following location for a file called PSUserConfig.txt and change its extension to .bak
C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2022\Adobe Photoshop 2022 Settings
You obviously have to check Windows Ink to retain pressure control.
Also check dopwn the LNP FAQ for some useful Photoshop tablet information
Your screen shots could just possibly be seen as shoelace artefacts if you screw up your face and squint. The best tool for fixing shelace artefacts is Lazy Nezumi Pro. IMO LNP is the best $35 add on for Windows Photoshop users bar none, and has so many cool functions you might never get to use them all.
