Perimeter boundaries not showing in Photoshop 2021

I'm sure I'm missing something very obvious, but here's my issue. On my desktop in Photoshop 2021 when I select an image, the perimeter of the rectangular image displays and I can transform, rotate, etc with the controls.

However, editing the same psd files on my laptop it doesn't display the perimeter controls when I select in image.

Any idea what I need to toggle to enable this feature?

Hi @msrmafia

Try this: Select the Move tool, then enable Show Transform Controls in the options bar. Is that what you are asking?

As I suspected, it was going to be a stupid easy solution that I was just missing. That was indeed the answer. THANK YOU so much.

You're welcome, @msrmafia , and don't think it's stupid, because it's not when you don't know the terminology. And your question will help others who search.  😊
